Spec’d App – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Rory David Monaghan, operating as RMonaghan Venture Studios (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares your information when you use the Spec’d App.

Note: RMonaghan Venture Studios is currently a sole proprietorship. We are in the process of registering as an LLC in Pennsylvania. Upon completion of LLC registration, these policies will be updated to reflect the new entity.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Email Address – for authentication and account management

  • User Content – vehicle details, photos, notes, savings goals, and other content you add

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • User ID – a unique identifier for account functionality

  • Crash & Performance Data – diagnostic reports (errors, crashes, performance) collected via Firebase

1.3 Information Shared with AI Services

  • User Prompts – text you enter into the in-app AI Agent, which is processed by OpenAI to provide responses

2. How We Use Your Information

  • App Functionality – authenticate your account, sync collections, deliver features

  • Analytics & Improvements – monitor performance, diagnose crashes, improve the app

  • AI Agent Services – process your prompts through OpenAI to provide AI-powered features

  • Subscriptions – manage purchases through Apple and RevenueCat

3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell your data. We share information only with providers necessary to operate the app:

  • Firebase (Google) – authentication, analytics, crash & performance monitoring

  • RevenueCat – subscription validation

  • Apple – App Store transactions and account authentication

  • OpenAI – AI agent functionality. User prompts are sent to OpenAI’s systems.

4. Children’s Privacy

Spec’d is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Account & Content – kept until you delete them or your account

  • Crash & Performance Data – retained per Firebase defaults (~14 months analytics, ~90 days crash logs)

  • AI Prompts – handled per OpenAI’s policies, retained only as needed for service and safety

  • You may delete your account in settings; deletion is completed within 30 days

6. International Transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country, including the United States.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may:

  • Access, correct, delete, or export your data

  • Opt out of analytics collection in device settings

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as needed. Updates will be reflected in-app and at:

Policies will also be updated upon official LLC registration in Pennsylvania.
